The Journey Behind Phoenix & The Moon
I’m Marina, the founder and maker behind Phoenix & The Moon. Born in southern Italy and now rooted in Stroud, my journey has been shaped by curiosity, creativity, and the desire to build something meaningful.
From early explorations in jewellery-making to years of learning the craft of silversmithing and goldsmithing, I discovered not only a skill, but a way to honour life’s stories — my own and those of others.
The phoenix rises from its ashes, a symbol of renewal, strength, and beauty born from challenge. The moon, moving through its cycles, gently reminds us that change is natural and inevitable. Together they form the heart of the brand, reflecting the journeys we all take and the stories we carry.
Phoenix & The Moon was born during a time of personal transformation, when I turned to making as a way to heal, to grow, and to rise. What began as an act of creation soon became a vision: to create jewellery that celebrates love, resilience, milestones, and the connections that shape our lives.
